I have an excellent command of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, usage and syntax. I am well aware of the importance of making sure that material is well-written, while being careful to preserve the style and voice of the author. I am knowledgable in both Chicago and AP style.

A note to Web site owners and designers: Your site is often a client’s first contact with you, and the importance of that first impression should not be underestimated. For Web site clients, I provide not only proofing and editing of text, but I also check links to ensure they are correct and up-to-date. Don’t let dead-end links and unnoticed typos tarnish the professional image of your site.

Rates for editing can vary greatly, due to the many variables present in each project. Given that, I generally require a sample of pages to look over before quoting rates.
